Windhoek - Following the success of last year's Miss Supranational runner-up, Yana Haenisch, who placed 2nd in Miss Supranational, the first-ever Miss Supranational Namibia Competition is currently taking place. Thirteen young women from all over Namibia have been selected to compete for the title and are currently preparing for the final night, in October.

The Miss Supranational Namibia Competition will follow the format of the international competition, with an exciting array of activities being planned. A Supra Model Competition, Supra Chat with Yana, and presentations of the contestants' 'From the Ground Up' projects will all be happening in the build-up to the big night. Miss Supranational 2019 first runner-up, Yana Haenisch, will be crowning her successor on October 3rd, at Droombos in Windhoek.

This will be Namibia´s only major beauty contest to be staged in 2020.
