Miss Gibraltar 2019

Celine Bolaños was elected Miss Gibraltar 2019 last weekend in the British territory located on the sounthern rocky tip of the Iberian peninsula.

Miss Gibraltar 2018 Star Farrugia crowned her successor, who will now compete in Miss World 2019, in Thailand, on December 7th.

The winner is 22 years old and was also the winner of the “Best Interview” award.

This year’s Miss Gibraltar pageant was organized by producer Yalta Pons from YDS in the newly constructed Special Olympics Sports Hall. 8 women competed for the title.

Janice Sampere was crowned 1st Princess and Jyza Balban was 2nd Princess.

Gibraltar debuted in Miss World back in 1959. In 2009, Kaiane Louise Aldorino made history by winning the Miss World title for Gibraltar, and in 2013 the small territory made it to Miss World´s Top 6 finalists, in another great result.
