Femina Miss India 2018 Crowned
19 year old Anukhreety Vas, representing the state of Tamil Nadu was crowned Femina Miss India 2018 at the conclusion of a glittering event at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai. The new Miss India is a talented dancer and athlete. She will now go to represent her country at the 68th edition of Miss World, hoping to follow in the footsteps of Manushi Chhillar who won the 2017 Miss World title.
It was almost a back-to-back win for Haryana but in the end 21 year old Meenaskhi Chaudhary was named the first runner-up. She stands 1.7m tall and will represent India at Miss Grand International 2018 this October in Myanmar.
Shreya Rao (25, 1.75m) was crowned second runner-up and will represent her country at the 2018 Miss United Continents Pageant. The top 5 were completed by the Gayatri Bhardwaj from Delhi and Stefy Patel from Jharkand.
GB Opinion: Good choices for India. There's something very appealing about the winner. We are sure she will be strong at Miss World. The runner-up will be a standout at Miss Grand International too.
