It´s 1 day to MGI 2021! What can we expect?
The excitement is high as 61 delegates from all continents keep on arriving in Phuket, Thailand, for the MGI´s 9th edition. Countries and territories such as Bangladesh, Armenia, Liberia, and Siberia will debut in Miss Grand International, while Australia, an MGI powerhouse, returns after being absent in the 2020 edition because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The final event will happen in Bangkok, on December 4th, when Abena Akuaba of the USA will crown her successor. But until then, a lot is to happen!
The candidates from Panama, India, Sri Lanka and Siberia, already in Phuket (MGI).
On November 18th, the Welcome Ceremony and Press Conference will take place in Phuket. On November 22nd, the Best in Swimsuit competition will happen.
In the next few days, the delegates will visit some of the main tourist attractions on the island, culminating with the worldwide famous paradise islands of Phi Phi, on November 26th.
Misses Pakistan and Ecuador upon their arrival in Phuket.
On the 28th, the group will fly to Bangkok, where they will get ready for the Best National Costume competition, on November 30th, and the Preliminary Event, on December 2nd.
The new queen will be elected on December 4th, in what promises to be another electrifying spectacle! Let´s not forget that MGI won the Best Grand Slam Pageant of 2020 award, by Global Beauties.
