Just like Miss International, Miss Supranational, and Miss World, Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi will have a longer reign.

Carlos C. Fernandez, a representative of the Miss Universe Organization, has informed the pageant´s national license holders that the next edition of the Miss Universe pageant won't happen earlier than the first quarter of 2021. The uncertainty created by the coronavirus pandemic is cited as the reason for the postponement. More details will follow in the upcoming months.
