Miss Universe Iceland and Miss Supranational Iceland 2019

Iceland has recently crowned two of its representatives in Grand Slam pageants in 2019, during the Miss Universe Iceland 2019 pageant, which took place in Reykjavik, on August 31.

Birta Abiba Þórhallsdóttir is Miss Universe Iceland 2019. This 19-year-old model has worked for the International Red Cross study aid program, in an effort to encourage children's literacy and education abroad. As a teenager, Birta wrote a full-length novel. She will compete in Miss Universe 2019.

Hugrún Egilsdóttir is Miss Supranational Iceland 2019 and will compete in Miss Supranational 2019 pageant, in Poland, on December 6th.

Hulda Vigdísardóttir, the 2nd runner-up, will represent Iceland in Queen Beauty Universe 2020.
