Miss World Brazil 2019

The election of Miss Brazil World 2019 took place at Dall´Onder Grande Hotel, in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul state. 42 representatives from states and tourist regions from all over Brazil, disputed the title and the right to represent Brazil in the Miss World 2019 competition in London, on December 14th. After parades in cocktail dresses, evening gowns and interviews, the judges chose Miss Espírito Santo CNB, Elis Miele, as the big winner.

Elis is 20 years old, 1.78 m tall, graduated from the technical nursing course and works as a model and digital influencer. This is the second time Espírito Santo has won the title of Miss Brazil World. The first was Anuska Prado in 1996. Anuska competed in the Miss World edition that took place in India and was third.

Second place went to Miss Caminho dos Princes, Fernanda Souza, also crowned as Miss South.

Completed the Top 5 Misses Rio Grande do Sul, Jessica Lily, Santa Catarina, Elizama Aguilar, and Fernando de Noronha, Iully Thaisa (Miss Northeast).

Fabrícia Belford, Miss Araguaia do Pará, was Miss North; Maíza Santa Rita of Brasília was Miss Central-West, and Michelle Velle of São Paulo was Miss Southeast.

The new Miss Brazil World was crowned by her predecessor, Jessica Carvalho, a medical student from Piaui, who gave a moving farewell speech.

Miss Fernando de Noronha, Iully Thaísa, won the BWP award, with Elis Miele in 2nd place.
