Miss World Nicaragua 2019
The city of Managua hosted the Miss World Nicaragua 2019 finals, with 15 finalists fighting for the crown. María Teresa Cortés, from Carazo, was the chosen one, standing out with her beauty, brains and spontaneity.
María Gabriela Saballos was the 1st runner-up, while Regina Rios was the 2nd runner-up.
Miss Universe Canada and Top 10 semi-finalist in Miss Universe 2018, Marta Magdalena Stepien, was a VIP guest at the event organized by national director Denis Davila, who´s also the producer of the Canadian national pageant for Miss Universe.
During the show, the candidates had the opportunity to present their social projects, in the spirit of “Beauty with a Purpose”.
Maria Teresa will now get ready to compete in Miss World 2019, in Thailand, by the end of the year.
