Miss World 2019 starts with Head to Head draw

Back in London after 5 years, Miss World 2019 has started at full swing. Over 110 have arrived in England´s capital hoping to become the successor of Mexico´s Vanessa Ponce de Leon, the 2018 winner. The first step was deciding the groups of the Head to Head Challenge through a draw, which took place right in front of the legendary Tower Bridge.

The groups are:

Group 1: Albania, Peru, England, Korea, Guyana, Honduras.

Group 2: Russia, Italy, Cook Islands, Myanmar, Ireland, Guatemala

Group 3: Laos, Iceland, South Sudan, Venezuela, Nicaragua, British Virgin Islands

Group 4: South Africa, Bolivia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Mongolia, Bulgaria

Group 5: Hong Kong China, Spain, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Moldova, Guadeloupe

Group 6: Curaçao, Malta, Brazil, Denmark, Northern Ireland, Ecuador

Group 7: Wales, United States, Equatorial Guinea, Malaysia, Trinidad and Tobago, Hungary

Group 8: Paraguay, New Zealand, Chile, Croatia, Scotland, France

Group 9: Czech Republic, Canada, Indonesia, Tunisia, Sierra Leone, Portugal

Group 10: Tanzania, Nepal, Gibraltar, Poland, Mexico, Cayman Islands

Group 11: Colombia, Netherlands, Japan, Costa Rica, Nigeria, Luxembourg

Group 12: Jamaica, US Virgin Islands, Turkey, Slovenia, Belgium, Panama

Group 13: Georgia, Puerto Rico, Slovakia, Guinea-Bissau, El Salvador, Australia

Group 14: Bahamas, Haiti, Botswana, Thailand, India, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Group 15: Samoa, Antigua and Barbuda, Greece, Barbados, Sweden, China PR

Group 16: Finland, Macau, Argentina, Kenya, Belarus, Ukraine

Group 17: Rwanda, Aruba (others may join).

The Head to Head Challenge will start being recorded soon, giving fans from around the globe not only the opportunity to vote for their favorites and push them through the next round of this specific challenge but also the chance to know them better.

During Head to Head interviews, the delegates get the change to answer questions about their activities back home and BWP projects, and also the same question for the ones who are part of the same group.
