Miss Suomi (Finland) 2018

Miss Suomi, one of the most traditional beauty national competitions in Europe, took place last Saturday (Sept 29th) in Helsinki. Alina Voronkova, 23, from Finland´s capital city, was the winner. She will represent her country in Miss Universe 2018, in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 17th.

Jenny Lappalainen, who placed 2nd and destined to represent Finland in Miss World 2018, was also the local press number 1 favorite. She will travel to China in November and will compete in Sanya on December 8th.

Eevi Ihalainen, who placed 3rd, is expected to represent Finland in Miss International 2018, on November 9th, in Tokyo, Japan.

Congratulations and much success to Finland in Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss International 2018!

GB comment: Don´t we all miss seeing Finland doing well in the world´s Grand Slam events? This trio looks promising. Also, in the near future, we hope Miss Suomi considers sending representatives to Miss Grand International and Miss Supranational as well, it´s about time.
