Miss Ukraine 2018

Veronika Didusenko, 23, 1.76 m-tall, was the winner of Miss Ukraine 2018 and will represent her country in Miss World 2018, on December 8th, in Sanya, China. A favorite among internet followers since the beginning, the new Miss Ukraine is a mathematician from Kyiv who also works as a model and has walked the runways of Milan and Paris.

Bogdana Tarasyk, 23, 1.72 m-tall, placed second and also stamped her passport to a Grand Slam competition: she will represent Ukraine in Miss International 2018, in Tokyo, Japan, on November 9th.

In 3rd place was Anastasia Krivokhizha, 23, 1.77 m-tall. She will compete in Miss Earth, in the Philippines.

Miss Ukraine 2018 has an interesting BWP project: It's about the creation of toys and various activities aimed at recognizing capabilities for math and other nature sciences in young kids. She´s been working with professors and people dedicated to education in general.

Held at the TV Pavilion studio, the pageant was attended by few selected people. “This year´s television production was extraordinary, I would say that even comparable to Miss Universe´s”, told us journalist and GB contributor Maryna Gudzavata.

It will be aired on September 30th.

GB opinion: The winner has the looks, the heart, and the brains, which might be an explosive combination when competing in Miss World. Her runner-ups are also beautiful, which means the Ukraine could score high in the two Grand Slam competitions represented by this organization: Miss World and Miss International. Good job!
