Mexicana Universal 2018 (Miss Universe Mexico)
19 year old Andrea Toscano from Colima became the first women from her state to win the Miss Universe Mexico title last night. She stands 1.75m tall and will represent Mexico at the next Miss Universe Competition at the end of this year. Toscano defeated 5 other beauties in the final. The competition was held in a reality style format this year. 32 young women started off competing for the crown and they were narrowed down to only 6 for the final show.
Aranza Molina from Tabasco was the runner-up and Miss Sinaloa, Maryely Leal, finished in third place. Lupita Valero from Guerrero was named the third runner-up, while one of the big favorites, Jalisco's Nebai Torres, finished in surprised fifth place. Rounding out the top 6 was Karely Sandoval from Zacatecas.
GB Opinion: She is a step up from last year's winner but not the most captivating Mexico has ever sent.
