Miss World Ecuador 2018
Nicole Ocles (20), Miss Imbabura, made history this weekend when she became the first Miss World Ecuador of African descent. Shortly after her crowning, she stated that she aimed to become a voice against any kind of discrimination in her country. She will represent Ecuador at the 2018 Miss World Contest in China this November and December.
Miss Guayas, Carla Prado, finished second and is expected to represent Ecuador at Miss Supranational 2018. Third place went to Nina Solorzano, Miss Manabi. The top 8 were completed by the contestants representing El Oro, Canar, Esmeraldas, Santo Domingo and Tungurahua.
