Miss Eco International 2018 to be crowned in Egypt, in April
Egypt is getting ready to welcome over 70 beautiful environmental ambassadors in the run for the Miss Eco International 2018 title. Aiming to promote eco tourism and sustainability, Miss Eco International celebrates this year its 4th edition in great style. The winner will win a diplomatic passport valid for 6 years and a cash prize.
Among the places the candidates will visit is Marsa Alam, where they will get the chance to stay at the fabulous Calimera Habiba Eco Resort, known as the "green paradise".
Candidates will be taken to Wadi Elgemal, considered to be one of the most beautiful protected areas in Egypt. Next, they will be mesmerized by the splendor of Luxor, where they will travel thousand of years back at Karnak and Hatshepsut temples.
The 70 stunners will be taken to Alexandria, the "bride of the White Sea". There they will face the reporters in an important press conference. Visits to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Elmontaza Park are scheduled.
The new Miss Eco International will be crowned at the Marquee Theatre, the biggest theatre at the Middle East, located in bustling Cairo.
Many surprises are being prepared for this year´s show, including a video clip in tribute to this year´s FIFA World Cup in which all the candidates will wear their national soccer team´s jerseys. It´s the first time since 1990 that Egypt qualified for the World Cup. Egyptions are very excited about it!
Miss Eco International 2018 will work with organizers and the United Nations as an environment ambassador. The pageant´s first three winners came from Slovania, Costa Rica and Canada. Who will be next?? Stay tuned for news and updates on this year´s pageant!
