Miss Lebanon 2018
Beautiful 22 year old Maya Reaidy was crowned Miss Lebanon 2018 at the Forum de Beyrouth in Beirut last night. She defeated 29 other delegates to win the title and the opportunity to represent her country at the 2018 Miss Universe Pageant in Bangkok, Thailand on December 17th. Mira Toufaily finished in second place (and will represent her country at Miss World 2018) while the third place went to Yara Abou Monsef. The top 5 were completed by Vanessa Yazbeck and Tatiana Saroufim. Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, the reigning Miss Universe, attended the event as one of the judges and VIP guest of the new Miss Lebanon Organization headed by Rimah Fakih, Miss USA 2010.
Fans of the Miss Lebanon Pageant immediately started pointing out the resemblance between the new Miss Universe and Lebanon’s only winner of the competition, Georgina Rizk (Miss Universe 1971). Could Lebanon win their second Miss Universe title this year?
