Miss South Africa 2017 to Compete for Miss Universe Crown

Sun International, the organizers of Miss South Africa, and the reigning queen, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters have announced that she will compete for the 66th Miss Universe title later this year. Nel-Peters announced that she has been working hard on her preparation and has declared that she is hoping to bring South Africa's second Miss Universe title later this year. South Africa last won the title in 1978. Nel-Peters will be trained by top South African stylist and pageant coach, Werner Wessels, who also guided Rolene Strauss to her Miss South Africa and Miss World victories in 2014.

The question now remains: who will represent South Africa at Miss World 2017?

Stay tuned!
