Miss World Venezuela 2017

Despite reports that Venezuela might not be represented at Miss World this year, the country with one of the most powerful pageant sashes will be present at this year's contest in China. 24 year old Ana Carolina Ugarte, Miss Monagas at Miss Venezuela 2013, has been handpicked to represent her country at the 67th edition of the competition. Ugarte was a huge favourite in 2013 but failed to advance to the top 10 of Miss Venezuela to the shock and surprise of followers of the competition. Now the 1.79m beauty will get a shot at international glory when she competes at the Beauty Crown Theater on November 18th. 

We are happy to see that Venezuela will be on the Miss World stage after all but we also wonder if they have evolved with the Miss World contest.
