Miss Ecuador 2022
Miss Ecuador (Universe) 2022 happened in the city of Quevedo, Los Ríos, on September 3rd. The winner is Nayelhi González of Esmeraldas.
The first runner-up, Georgette Kalil of Guayas, will compete for the title Miss International 2023. Samantha Quenedit, from Pichincha, was the 2nd runner-up.
The event was broadcast live by Gamavision.
The final question was:
If you could ask anyone for anything, who would it be and what would you ask?
“I would ask the President of the Republic to help my land, Esmeraldas, a land that needs more purposes and more opportunities, a land of resilient, brave young people, who have important gifts to give not only to Esmeraldas, but to all of our country", answered the vibrant new Miss Ecuador Universe.
Different from what happened in recent editions of this pageant, this time around the people of Ecuador welcomed their new queen mostly with positive comments on social media and satisfaction.
