The Nigerian Queen 2022 (Miss Grand Nigeria)
Damilola Bolarinde was crowned The Nigerian Queen 2022 in Port Harcourt, last weekend, in what was the pageant´s 14th edition. The winner will compete in the 10th edition of Miss Grand International, in Indonesia, October 3rd - 25th. The event happened at the EUI Centre and 40 women competed for the coveted title.
The 1st runner-up was Nnena Odum, from Anambra, while the 2nd runner-up was Mavis Aruma, from Yobe.
Damilola, the new queen, said after the show: “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the lord, thoughts of peace and not evil to give you an expected end. I want to thank God who has made this possible for if it wasn’t his will, none of this would have been possible. To my amazing family, I am so blessed to have your untamed support, your love and belief in me.”
