MGI 2022 - Bali welcomes candidates from five continents

Bali, the most famous Indonesian island and province, is the epitome of paradise. The most connected out of over 17,000 islands in Indonesia, Bali has been getting a lot of attention for good reasons. It has everything you look for in a tourist destination – phenomenal beaches, magical temples, lush greenery, rich and diverse culture, and an artistic vibe. Beyond all that, visitors love Bali because of its welcoming people.

In the next 10 days, it will serve as co-host for the 10th edition of Miss Grand International 2022. On October 25th, all the magic and beauty of Bali will be showcased during the 3-hour-10th anniversary special. Right now, groups of well-accomplished young women from five continents are arriving in Bali and having the best possible first impression.

As the contestants landed at Bali International Airport, they were greeted by the MGI organizers and some of them were interviewed live on MGI´s Facebook page. Most delegates have spent over 20 hours on flights and stopovers, but they all looked sharp and said to be excited to have arrived in paradise!

Ms. Teresa Chaivisut, vice-president of MGI, said it´s the 3rd time she visits Bali, in her own words, “a very beautiful place”. She welcomed the candidates she met at the airport upon arriving with Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil, president of MGI, and with Miss Grand Thailand.

Mr. Itsaragrisil took photos with a group of candidates, got flowers from locals, and looked absolutely thrilled to be initiating its 10th MGI production.
