MGI 2022: GB Best National Costume goes to the United Kindgom

In the past few years, we haven´t seen European beauty contestants standing out when the subject is national costumes presented in Grand Slam pageants. Sofia Mayers, Miss Grand United Kingdom, broke this pattern when paying tribute to the impressive and historical Albert Hall of London, which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year. In addition to the beautiful adornment bringing the famous theater to life, Mayers came out of it dancing ballet dressed as Queen Elizabeth II´s treasured and protected royal animal, the swan, in memory of Her Majesty, who recently passed away. The Alberto Hall has a powerful connection to pageantry, after all, it hosted the Miss World finals for two decades, with some of its best-produced and most celebrated editions ever!
