Miss Portuguesa 2021: Meet Portugal´s Grand Slam team for 2021/22

This year's Miss Portuguesa contest took place at the legendary Cassino de Estoril, the stage of some of the most important events that have ever taken place in Portugal. From that competition, came the team that will represent the Iberian nation in Grand Slam competitions. They are:
Lidy Alves, the representative of the Portuguese community in France, elected Miss Portuguesa 2021 and Portugal´s representative in Miss World 2021, in Puerto Rico. She is 25 years old and speaks three languages.
Rita Reis, from Lisbon, the 1st runner-up and Miss International Portugal 2022;
Ana Teixeira, from Gondomar, the 2nd runner-up and Miss Supranational Portugal 2022;
Oricia Santos, the representative of the Portuguese community in Spain, chosen as Miss Universe Portugal 2021. Oricia was the 2nd runner-up in Miss Venezuela 2018 and has also competed in Miss World Spain. She is 27 years old.
Ana Ferreira, from Guarda, is Miss Grand Portugal 2021.
22 women competed in Portugal.

Miss Wales 2021
The lovely Olivia Harris, 18, from Monmouthshire, is the new Miss Wales. She will go on to compete in Miss World, on December 16th, in Puerto Rico. Lauren Elizabeth Parkinson, Miss Grand Wales 2018, was the 1st runner-up, and Emily Norris, from Pontypridd. The event happened in Newport.
Miss Universe Chile 2021
The stage for the election of Miss Universe Chile 2021 was built at the Hotel Ontiveros, in San Fernando. Antonia Cristal, 26, and an environmental civil engineer and model from Coquimbo, emerged as the winner. Maria Jose Norambuena placed 2nd, while Daniella Valentina finished 3rd, among 15 candidates. In 2016 Antonia competed in Miss World, in Washington DC, but did not place, which means that she will take some Grand Slam experience to Israel, where she will try to become the next Miss Universe, in December.
Miss Belarus 2021
The Miss Belarus contest took place last week in Minsk in a great televised event. The winner is an 18-year-old model and runway instructor, Daria Goncharevich, from Minsk. Yulia Iovleva was the 1st runner-up and Alexandra Popok was the 2nd runner-up. Miss Belarus 2021 speaks fluent English and will compete in Miss World 2021, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. 29 young women competed for the title.
Miss Ecuador 2021
Susy Sacoto is the new Miss Universe Ecuador. She was the winner of the national pageant held in Quevedo, Los Rios, on September 11. She is 24 and hails from Portoviejo. Besides being a lawyer, Susy is a student of Medicine at Universidade de Especialidades Espiritu Santo.
Miss Grand Slam is underway! The Top 20 competitors have been announced!
GB´s traditional Miss Grand Slam contest, launched in 1998, is underway for the Grand Slam calendar year of 2020 (Miss Grand International and Miss Universe). An international panel of judges has recently selected the Top 20, who are now competing for only 8 spots in the face-off stage of the contest! Follow all the action at @officialglobalbeauties.
