Miss Grand Int´l 2020: Kenya and Nigeria test positive for Covid-19

Miss Grand Nigeria, Chikaodili Nna-Udosen, and Miss Grand Kenya, Irene Ng’endo, hours after landing in Bangkok, Thailand.

An official statement by Miss Grand International informed that during their quarantine and the routine COVID-19 swab test they are subjected to, Miss Grand Kenya, Irene Ng’endo, and Miss Grand Nigeria, Chikaodili Nna-Udosen, tested positive for Covid-19.

MGI organizers have followed the standard regulation guideline by the Thai government, together with doctors´ advice, having moved both candidates to Piyavate Hospital for further care and treatment.

The Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel has applied their standard ASQ policy by sanitized all related areas, mostly their rooms. All other candidates have tested negative so far.
