The ones who have already arrived in Thailand were taken straight away to the Golden Tulip Sovereign after their arrival, where their quarantine period began.
Some still struggle to get to Thailand, facing the most diverse obstacles.
Who hasn't arrived yet and what should happen to them? This is what we were able to ascertain:
Armenia, Nare Zakaryan: She will not participate.
Bashkortostan, Albina Shaykhlislamova: Albina is trying to get her documentation ready to travel to Bangkok. On her Instagram account, she wrote yesterday: “Wait for me, Thailand!”.
Bolivia, Teresita Sanchez Añez: After having her purse stolen in Madrid, where she lives, on Saturday, Teresita will need to get a new Bolivian passport on Monday. Hopefully, she will be able to travel on Wednesday.
Cuba, Jennifer Sánchez Aguilar: Jennifer is still waiting for the Thai Embassy permit for her to go to Thailand. Like Bolivia, she is expected to fly on Wednesday.
India, Simran Sharma: One of the last national representatives to be confirmed, Simran should leave India to Thailand in a couple of days.
Laos, Patthana Khidaphone: She is expected to arrive in Bangkok a few days late.
Mauritius, Tania Rene: We have contacted Ahmad, Mauritius´ national director, but have not yet heard from him, or from Miss Grand Mauritius.
Nepal, Ambika Joshi Rana: Local organizers have confirmed to Global Beauties that she is on her way to Thailand.
It seems like at least 58 candidates will join MGI, hoping to see 63 of them in Thailand!

Remote activities (on internet) promoted by MGI with the delegates who are already in Thailand, will start on Monday, March 1st.
