Miss Nederland 2019 (Miss Universe Netherlands)

Her name is Sharon Pieksma and she will represent the Netherlands in Miss Universe 2019. There she is, Miss Nederland 2019.

She was the winner of the television show Hunting for the Crown, aired by RTL 4. 10 finalists competed and the runner-up was Fabiënne Davelaar. Miss Social Media was Leontine Brns, while Miss Congeniality, chosen by the candidates themselves, was Daphne Albers.

Sharon is 24 years old and hails from Rotterdam. The Dutch stunner is an actress and model who saw her career taking off when she took part in Holland´s Next Top Model, back in 2013.

The new Miss Nederland loves people, nature and animals, and as her country´s representative in Miss Universe 2019, her wish is to work on projects aiming to stop pollution by the use of plastic.

A natural beauty who could rock in the next edition of Miss Universe, Sharon reminds us of the great looking candidates the Netherlands sent to Miss Universe by the end of the 1980´s and beginning of the 1990´s, when it competed so strongly there.
