Miss Universe Thailand 2019
26-year old Jennifer Paweensuda "Fahsai" Drouin, was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2019 during the annual gala held at the Thunder Dome in Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, on June 29th. She was crowned by the reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray.
The 1st runner-up was Miriam "Mirisorn" Sornprommas, and the 2nd runner-up was Thanatchaphon "Bella" Boonsang. Completing the Top 5 were former Miss Intercontinental Patraporn "First" Wang, and Kim Docekalova.
Standing 1.80 m in height, Fahsai was born in Quebec, Canada, where she was also raised. She moved to Thailand to pursue a career as a model and DJ.
Fahsai graduated with the highest Latin honor - Summa Cum Laude distinction at the University of Calgary, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She will now represent the Land of Smiles at the 68th Miss Universe pageant to be held later in the year.
With a spectacular stage production and camera direction, this was the first edition of Miss Universe Thailand organized by new license holders TPN, who were responsible for the production of Miss Universe 2018 in Bangkok.

GB comment: In recent years Thailand has been performing quite well in Miss Universe and this year shall be no exception. The new Miss Universe Thailand is a front-runner for the Miss Universe 2019 title at this point.
