Peru wins Miss Eco International 2019

The Al Masa Capital Hotel, in Cairo, Egypt, hosted the finals of Miss Eco International 2019, in its 6th edition. In a well-produced show, it was Peru´s Rashia Suheyn Cipriani Noriega who emerged as the deserving winner, edging out other 52 candidates from around the globe.

The Philippines nearly got a back-to-back victory, as Maureen Ann Hiwatig Montagne placed 2nd. She was followed by Miss Eco USA, Jordan Elizabeth (3rd), Miss Eco Ukraine, Diana Voliakova (4th), and Miss Eco Malaysia, Amy Nur Tinie Bt Abdul Aziz (5th).

Top 10 semi-finalists were Ecuador, Jocelyn Daniela Mieles Zambrano; France, Chloé Jovenin (considered by many the number 1 favorite for the title); Indonesia, Ratu Vashti Annisa; Japan, Nai Tomita; and Paraguay, Irene Camacho Azcona.

The Top 21 quarter-finalists were Argentina, Lucía Luján Iratí Barreto; Canada, Sasha Lombardi; China, Ying Fu; Curaçao, Mariana Pietersz; Mauritius, Amber Korimdun; Mozambique, Keilla Cesária D'Leonardo Nhantumbo; Nepal, Muna Gauchan; Poland, Agata Chrośniak; Thailand, Cat Arthitiya; Tunisia, Haifa Ghedir; and Venezuela, Yara de los Ángeles de León Arévalo.

The continental Eco queens were Egypt, Farah Shabaan (Africa); Puerto Rico, Ciara Marie Rosendo Martínez (Americas); Korea, Jo Ju-hyeon (Asia); Denmark, Raimonda Gečaitė (Europe); and Brazil, Tainá Laydner Fiore (Latin America).

The 53 eco queens traveled around Egypt, uncovering its amazing history and treasures, staying at 5-star resorts and truly having a great time.

Miss Eco International was created and is presided by Dr. Amaal Rezk, who works with the United Nations in projects aiming to protect our planet´s envronment.
