Mel Dequanne Abar, Miss Grand Penampang, was crowned Miss Grand Malaysia 2019 last weekend in the presence of the current Miss Grand International, Clara Sosa of Paraguay. Teresa Chaivisut , vice-president of Miss Grand International, was also a VIP guest at the event.

Miss Grand Malaysia 2019 was watched by thousands of people around the globe, as it was webcast live by Miss Grand International official Facebook page.

The new Miss Grand Malaysia will compete for the title Miss Grand International on October 25th, in Venezuela.
