MGI 2019: Preliminary Interviews

Miss Grand Philippines made it to Caracas just in time to compete in the first of the three preliminary events which will determine the Top 20.

Now things got really serious for the 60 young women competing for the title Miss Grand International 2019: the preliminary interview, worth 1/3 of the scores which will determine the Top 20, took place at the Tamanaco Intercontinental Caracas.

Nawat Itsaragrisil, president of MGI, Teresa Chaivisut, vice-president of MGI, and Clara Sosa, the current Miss Grand International, got the chance to talk individually with the delegates, as they shared their life stories, professional and personal goals, and obstacles they faced to get to this point.

We were told that the overall level of interviews was very high, making things even more difficult for the judges!
