The favorite for the title Miss Jamaica World 2018 did not disappoint and walked away with the sash and crown at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel last night: she is 23-year-old Khadijah Robinson, a stunning young woman who has the odds in her favor to do well in Miss World 2018.

Robinson, a Hampton alumnus, was one of 15 delegates competing for the national title.

She were a silver stunner created by breakout fashion designer Rednarim, informed The Gleaner Jamaica.

Issia Thelwell was first runner-up and Catherine Harris, second runner-up.

Robinson will now go on to represent Jamaica in Miss World, in Sanya, China on December 8.

GB comments: Jamaica usually does well in Miss World and it has won the title on three occasions already: 1963, 1976 and 1993. It´s been 17 years since the last time a black woman won the Miss World title, so there´s a good chance one may take the blue crown this year. Let´s keep an eye on her!
