US$3 million are raised under Miss World´s BWP in Singapore

Julia Morley, CEO of MWO, and Stephanie Del Valle, Miss World Beauty With A Purpose Ambassador, recently made history for Beauty With a Purpose in Singapore. They joined a fundraising effort for the Beauty With A Purpose Fundraising Gala at Resorts World, Sentosa, and in less than 3 hours, more than 4.2 million Singapore dollars (over $3 million US dollars) were pledged to the Sian Shay Institution. The Sian Shay Institution provides medical treatment and medicines to elderly patients who cannot afford any healthcare.

Stephanie, Miss World 2016 and BWP ambassador, stepped in for Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar, who has been recovering from a knee injury. Manushi will be back to her activities soon.

“The work done by Miss World Singapore is an example to everyone of how to make a success of a charity event. Stephanie has done so well tonight, we are very proud of her”, said Julia Morley.
