Fernanda was crowned by Miss International Brazil 2017, Bruna Zanardo of São Paulo.

Boanerges Gaeta Junior, who in the past held the licenses also for Miss Universe and Miss World in Brazil, is the current license holder of Miss International in the South American country.

GB comments: Fernanda was the clear choice in this pageant, confirming her status of favorite. Brazil hasn´t placed in Miss International´s Top 3 or Top 5 since 1981, a long drought. Let´s see if Fernanda Recht can break it. Best of luck to her!
