Miss Teen USA 2018 is Kansas!
Miss Kansas Teen USA, 17 year old Hailey Colborn was crowned Miss Teen USA 2018 at the conclusion of the 36th edition of this competition in Shreveport, Louisiana. She is only the second teen from Kansas in the history of the Miss Teen USA to win this crown. Kansas' only other victory happened 23 years ago in 1995.
The runner-up was Kirby Self from South Carolina with Colorado's Chloe Zambrano finishing in third place. Sydni-Dion Bennett from Illinois and Kaaviya Sambasivam from North Carolina finished in fourth and fifth places respectively.
The delegates from Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee and Utah made it to the top 10 before being eliminated. Rounding out the top 15 were the contestants representing California, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada and West Virginia. Miss Alabama Teen USA, Kennedy Cromeens was named Miss Congeniality.
GB Opinion: Unexpected choice, as always with Miss Teen USA, but she is really cute. Like a real teen should be!
