Miss Grand Slam 2017 Round 1: Group 8 Results

The fan vote for Group 8 has concluded and it was a rather surprising results as Miss World Dominican Republic , was named the surprise winner of this fan voting round with 57% of the van vote. Aletxa Mueses only placed in the top 40 of Mis World, winning the Miss Word Sports title, but it was her fans that stood together to give her an overwhelming pass into the second round. 

Our judges have also chosen three other delegates to advance to the second round. They are: 

Miss Universe Colombia, and the first runner-up to Miss Universe 2017, Laura Gonzalez, who is through to round 2 of our contest . 

The lovely Miss Universe Indonesia, Bunga Jelitha, who despite makin a positive impression on the judges, did not feature in the top 16 at Miss Universe 2017. She is now, however, in our top 64

Another lady who the judges picked to go to the next round is Miss Finland International 2017, Pihla Koivuniemi. This came at the expense of Miss World 2nd runner-up, Stephanie Hill, who has unfortunately been eliminated from this competition.
