Miss Grand Slam 2017 Round 1: Group 5 Results

Voting for Group 5 has concluded at www.votemissgrandslam.com and we can now reveal that the winner of the fan vote for Group 5, with 42% of the votes, is Miss International Colombia, Vanessa Pulgarin, who failed to place at Miss International but was voted in by our Instagram followers. She will advance to the 2nd Round of Global Beauties Miss Grand Slam 2017. 

The judges scores for this round have also been tallied. Joining our top 64 are: 

Miss International Curacao, Chanelle de Lau performed exceptionally well by placing 2nd at the Miss International 2017 Pageant in Japan. Our judges loved her and sent her into the second round. 

Also through to the round of 64 is Miss World Kenya, Magline Jeruto, who did her country proud by securing a consecutive top 5 placement and Miss World Africa title for Kenya at Miss World 2017. 

The final delegate to advance to the second round from Group 5 is Miss World Thailand, Patlada Kulphakthanapat who despite performing exceptionally well in the Miss World Top Model competition did not make it to the top 40.
