Miss World 2018 Contestants Arrive in Sanya
The 68th Miss World Contest has officially started. More than 100 contestants have already arrived at the Mangrove Tree World Resort in Sanya on Hainan Island in the People’s Republic of China. South Africa’s Thulisa Keyi was the first one to arrive and said, “I cannot believe I am the first one to arrive. I’m so excited. It’s so beautiful and tropical here. Miss World 2018 is ON.” Miss Denmark, Tara Jensen, reflected on her first day by saying, “The first day was amazing and I had so much fun with all the girls. My roommate is Miss Slovakia and she is super nice. I also had a quick interview on Chinese television.” Jessica Tyson from New Zealand couldn’t help but express how in awe she was of the host hotel and said she is already in love with Sanya.
