MGI 2018: Preliminary Event and Updated Leaderboard

The Preliminary Event for Miss Grand International 2018 happens tonight, at 7 PM local time, in Yangon, Myanmar. All 75 candidates will parade for the judges in evening gowns and swimsuits. These two scores will add up to the one they received from their preliminary interviews. 20 semi-finalists will then be chosen, to be announced at the final gala show, on October 25th.

India “the ones to beat” in what could still be called an “open game”

After the release of GB´s 4th List of Favorites for MGI 2018, India appears on top for the 2nd consecutive time, although our pageant analysts see Venezuela and Philippines very close behind, with Paraguay growing a lot after the Best in Swimsuit competition.

GB believes 47 candidates have REAL CHANCES to advance to the Top 20, which makes it quite a challenge and a tough game for all.

Tonight´s preliminary event shall clear the air a bit more, showing who manages to survive the pressure!
