19th Global Beauties Awards - Best Host Country - Miss Grand Int´l (Vietnam)

The first Yulia of 2017 goes to Miss Grand International and Vietnam, certainly a fastastic host country which embraced the contest and offered some amazing moments to its candidates, visitors and viewers. In Vietnam, Miss Grand contestants stayed in top-of-the-line resorts and hotels, got to visit main tourist attractions and the food was always abundant, diverse and of high quality.

Miss World and China came in 2nd. This time around Miss World candidates got to see more than just Sanya and the fans could follow the action in videos which were showed during the Head-to-Head challenges. Miss International might have stayed behind the other 4 Grand Slam pageants in many ways, but Japan keeps on being a gracious host country, offering some rich local cultural experiences to the ladies. It got its place on the podium, with a bronze medal.

Poland and majorly Slovakia improved, giving Miss Supranational a 4th position, with more leisure activities (but it needs more, without a doubt). The US (Las Vegas) was a big disappointment as a host country based on its poor preliminary activities (we say "poor" for what we expect from Miss Universe).
