Russia wins Miss United Continents 2017
Russia's Tatiana Tsimfer defeated 32 other contestants to win Miss United Continents 2017 this past weekend in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Tsimfer is 26 years old, stands 1.75m tall and is the first Russian to win this title. The runner-up was Alina Pigun from the Ukraine. Roxana Reyes from Mexico finished in third place, while Aoom Phingchamrat from Thailand and Yenniffer Hernandez from Colombia finished in fourth and fifth places respectively. Jeisy Rodriguez from the Dominican Republic rounded out the top 6. The contestants from South Africa, Ecuador, India and Venezuela survived the first cut to reach the top 10.
