Miss South Africa Runner-Up to Compete for Miss World 2017 Title

Sun International, the owners of the Miss South Africa Pageant, has announced that they have appointed the first runner-up to Miss South Africa 2017, Ade van Heerden, to represent South Africa at the 67th Miss World Contest in China. Earlier this year, the reigning Miss South Africa, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, announced that she will be competing at Miss Universe 2017. Van Heerden, 25, is a medical doctor and hails from Herolds Bay in the Western Cape.
