Miss Universe Ireland 2017

24 year old Cailín Áine Ní Toíbín was crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2017 a short while ago. She will represent her country at Miss Universe 2017 this November. Kelly Horrigan was named the first runner-up while Caoimhe Dwyer was named the second runner-up. Aoife McGrane and Andrea Rooney finished as the third and fourth runners-up respectively. The pageant made a comeback this year under the directorship of international model and former Miss Indiana USA, Brittany Mason. When announcing that she had taken over the competition earlier this year, Mason promised to take the franchise to greater heights in the next few years by getting the public more involved and improving the image of the competition in Ireland.

Well done to Brittany Mason and her team. We are looking forward to seeing what she can do with this franchise. The winner was one of our favourites and she has the potential to do well at Miss Universe!
