Señorita Panamá Mundo 2017
Julianne Britton (21), a professional model and student of International Business representing Taboga, was crowned "Señorita Panamá Mundo (Miss World Panama) 2017" during a spectacular final held at the Anayansi Theater of ATLAPA Convention Center on July 4th.
Britton stands 1.84 m in height and will represent Panama during the 67th Miss World finals to be held in Singapore and China next October/November. She was also the recipient of the "Best Social Project/Beauty with a Purpose" award, due to her initiative to help the local Women's Development Center which works with victims of domestic violence.
The 1st runner-up was Erika Enith Parker from Colon (23), a student of port logistics and crane controller; and the 2nd runner-up was Karol Dayana Batista (24), a medical student representing Los Santos.
Completing the Top 5 were Flamenco (Titi del Castillo) and Contadora (Laura De Sanctis) respectively.
The Top 10 semi-finalists were Chiriqui Occidente (Luz Sune), who was the winner of the VODI Popular Vote; Cocle (Carolina Castillo), Panama Centro (Maria Alejandra Tejada), Panama Norte (Darelys Santos) and Panama Oeste (Paulette Sanchez).
20 contestants competed in this edition of Señorita Panamá Mundo, in its second year under the direction of Ed Domínguez and Cesar Anel Rodríguez.
