Miss Universe Thailand 2017

Maria "Mareeya" Poonlertlarp Ehren (25) was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2017 during the annual event held July 29th at the Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok.  Standing 1.84 m in height, Maria speaks English, Swedish, Mandarin and Thai, and will represent her nation during the 66th Miss Universe pageant in November.

Joining her in the Top 5 were Supaporn Rittipruk, first runner-up, Paweensuda Drouin, second runner-up, Suraparin Artkongharn, third runner-up, and Ratchanok Naowaset, who was the fourth runner-up. 40 competitors took part in this year's event.
