Miss Universe 2017 Tour of the Philippines: The Islands
The Miss Universe 2017 Tour of the Philippines group was split into 3 smaller groups on Friday as they headed to 3 separate locations for the day. This day of getting to know some of the country's most scenic spots formed part of the Department of Tourism's Bring Home A Friend campaign.
Miss Universe, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and Miss Great Britain, Anna Burdzy headed to Batanes, the northernmost province of the archipelago. South Africa's second Miss Universe is the first Miss Universe title holder to visit this province.
Another group set off for Camiguin with another group. Camiguin is the second smallest province in the country. The delegates from Singapore, India, Korea, USA, the Netherlands, Canada, Italy, Spain and Netherlands joined this group.
The reigning Miss Universe Philippines, Rachel Peters, showed Malaysia and Russia around Bohol.
