Manhunt International 2017
Truong Ngoc Tinh (19), a 29-year old model from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, won the title of Manhunt International 2017 during the event held at the Siam Palavai Royal Theatre in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 27th. Standing 1.87 m in height, Tinh received his scarf from last year's titleholder, Patrik Sjoo from Sweden.
The 1st runner-up, who will take over the winner's duties if he is unable to, was Kongnat Choeisuwan (30) from Thailand. Completing the Top 5 were 2nd runner-up Gaetan Osman (23) from Lebanon; 3rd runner-up Muhammad Wazeem Cammar (28) from Sri Lanka and 4th runner-up Andry Ismaya Permadi (27) from Indonesia.
Contestants in the Top 16 semi-finalists were Brazil, Poland, Philippines, Malaysia (chosen by his own mates as Mr. Friendship), South Africa, Chinese Taipei, Mongolia, Dominican Republic, Singapore, Macau and Turkey.
Among the special awards given during the gala were Best Runway Model (China), Best Commercial Model (Guam) and Best Fashion Model (Vietnam). Indonesia was the winner of Best National Costume (with Laos and Sri Lanka in 2nd and 3rd place), while Sweden won Mr. Physique, Philippines is Mr. Photogenic and Brazil got Mr. Personality.
Manhunt International is now in its 24th year, under the organization of ERM Singapore and Rosko Dickinson.
